This song really changed the way that I think about music back when I first heard it (age 12, 2006). I still really love it. Before this, I didn’t consider emotion to be an element of a song. I listen to what I thought rocked hard. This song hit me hard.

Experiment #1: One month of Big Star
This is the first experiment like this that I am doing. From December 1st to January 1st, I am going to listen to nothing but Big Star. Except for band practice. But that doesn’t count, I don’t think. I will record progress and such in this blog. I have only heard one Big Star song in my life. This month may be phenomenal or may be hard. Big Star will help me through. I have the entire Big Star box set. This will be interesting.
